![]() Jayne offers: developmental and copy editing for a full manuscript and/or a preliminary review and summary of recommendations. Her recent projects include helping authors develop memoirs essays oral arguments speeches and art books. She was dramaturg and director of new play development at Magic Theatre in San Francisco and chief speechwriter at Apple. She acquired her working knowledge of the fields in which she edits after long experience. Her signature observations and recommendations about structure and voice help clarify writing for both academic and general audiences, often suggesting revisions that take an author’s message beyond an academic audience to a wider public. Jayne is dedicated to giving writers high value by delivering manuscripts evolved far beyond the drafts with which she begins work.
